Absolute Codswallop. It must be a lonely life sitting in hope of reduced bargains, not knowing what carp would be served up!

Here is BoP's from last week!

And if I had to buy the golden flakes of Corn, it would still be less than £20!

I doubt it. Opened milk lasts longer than you might think in a well functioning fridge - you could probably knock another 96p off the billBlackbeard_of_Perranporth wrote: »Only two of us, if I bought two pint bottles, over half would go off!

She will have a full stock cupboard that will help her with those figures. I too have a full stock cupboard but she's doing better than I am and I pride myself on not over spending on food.
I don't think we can compare ourselves with anyone really and BoP if I were to compare my shop with yours I would struggle to make a couple of meals for just myself let alone the breakfast, lunches, dinner with left overs for DH the next day, kiddie pack ups and suppers. It's definately all relative.
Anything that gets the message out there is a good thing and if she can sustain that weekly and is happy then so be it I tend to think

I agree my four Pinter dated 19/4 has just been finished today. No croutons in it, it smelled OK so we just kept using it.0
